SUMMER MINI GRANTS Open the Door to a Brighter Future Connect Chicago Youth to Summer Possibilities
The Department of Family and Support Services' (formerly the Chicago Department of Children and Youth Services) Summer Mini Grants program offers non-profit agencies a chance to apply for up to $2,000 in funding to support programs for Chicago-area youth (ages 10-18) to explore vocational, recreational and educational opportunities. Many Mini Grants also address community needs by supporting programs that engage youth in community improvement or exploration.
Award amounts range from $250 to a maximum of $2,000.
The Summer Mini Grants Program is open to community-based organizations, churches, schools, and other non-profit agencies. Click the Mini Grant Applications link on the left navigation pane to apply or call the Mini Grant Hotline at (312) 743-6313.
There will be a technical assistance session for the Mini Grant Program on April 28th from 10:00 - Noon at the Martin Luther King Center, 4313 S. Cottage Grove Ave. All are welcome to attend.
