The Chicago Department of Family and Support Services(FSS) offers full day training on child care process and related systems for approved FSS childcare and collaboration agencies. This training covers COPA-ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance), IMEDGE, CCMIS and the child care eligibility process.

Both computer-based and hands-on instruction are used to provide a comprehensive training for all types of users in addition to an on-line exam. The goal is to provide on overall understanding of the child care process for delegate agency staff involved with the day-to-day operations in addition to best practices from FSS staff.

Requirements:

Must have attended basic training on COPA-ERSEA, IMEDGE and CCMIS with attendance verification; Must have Program Director or Executive Director approval; Registration is required;
